It all started with a love for travel. Over the years, we have been fortunate enough to explore incredible places and immerse in many cultures, including the vineyards of Tuscany. It was during that memorable trip together, after indulging in the region's delightful wines and cuisine, that we discovered a shared dream - to bring the experience and taste of our travels to our hometown of Whitley Bay!

 From that moment, our ‘Project’ began.

 At the heart of our vision are pizzas - but not just any pizzas. We are passionate about the Neapolitan style, and believe that bigger crusts make for better pizzas! With this in mind, our dough is proved for 48 hours and baked to perfection in a traditional wood-fired oven at 450 degrees, ensuring an authentic pizza experience. We are committed to sourcing the finest imported Italian products and utilising fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create a diverse range of delicious toppings. Our team share the same passion for pizza-making, and together we are constantly exploring new creations for you to enjoy.

 Complementary to our pizza menu, we also offer a versatile range of small plates that can be enjoyed on their own or in a sharing style with your friends and family. The choice is yours!

 Now, let's talk about wine - a subject close to our hearts. It's impossible to choose just one favourite from the countless wineries we have visited and the countries we have explored. Instead of limiting our offering, at Project we aim to celebrate the incredible range of wines available and have curated a selection of our personal favourites that will continuously evolve. Whether you have your own beloved bottle or are unsure of your preferences, we offer wine flights and suggested pairings to guide you on a delightful tasting journey. Who knows, you may discover a new favourite wine, too.
